Bananas Foster

Yield: 4-8 servings

5 Tbsp butter

4 Tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 Tbsp banana flavoring

4 Bananas cut in half lengthwise then halve

1 Tbsp Rum flavoring

4 scoops of vanilla ice cream


Melt butter in a skillet or flambé pan.

Add sugar, cinnamon, and banana flavoring and stir until sugar melts.

Add bananas to sauce and sauté until bananas are soft and browned.

Stir pan mixture in circular motion.

Place ice cream in bowls topping with banana pieces.

Spoon sauce over bananas and ice cream and serve immediately.
